Peptide Label

Date:2026-10-02     Click:4

A peptide label is the pressure-sensitive label applied to a peptide vial, pen or box — on a 3ml vial it is usually the only surface carrying the product name, the strength and the batch line. We print peptide label printing on roll or sheet from 1,000 pcs, die-cut to your finished shape, with free design and free proofing at our Wenzhou factory. Quotes come back within 24 hours, samples in 1–3 business days and bulk in 7–15 business days. If you need the label matched to a peptide vial box, a tray or a cap, all of it can be produced and proofed together.

What a Peptide Label Has To Do on a Small Vial

Labelling a peptide vial is a different job from labelling a flat carton, and most first-time problems come from the curve rather than from the print.

The curvature eats the leading edge. A 3ml vial is narrow enough that artwork which reads perfectly flat loses its first few millimetres as the label wraps away from the eye. Keep text away from the leading edge, avoid thin rules that run vertically, and place the strength or the molecule name where the radius is flattest.

The seam has to be deliberate. On a fully wrapped label the two ends meet, and any registration drift shows up as a visible join. We set that gap deliberately rather than trying to hide it, and we ask for the placement height so the seam falls where your designer intended.

The adhesive has to suit cold or damp glass. If your vials are chilled before labelling, the adhesive must be chosen for that rather than for room temperature. Tell us the storage and handling conditions and we will specify accordingly — it is not something you can change after the labels are printed.

Why peptide labels carry more information than they look like they can

A peptide product is bought by someone who checks the strength, the volume and the lot number. On a 20 mm label there is very little room for all three plus a brand, so the layout has to prioritise. The usual answer is a hierarchy: brand at the top where the curvature is most forgiving, strength and volume centred, the batch and any warning line set small but clear at the base. We work that hierarchy out at proofing rather than leaving it to the press operator.

Materials and Adhesives for a Peptide Vial Label

Four stock families cover almost everything we print for peptide vials.

Coated paper is the default. It takes fine type well, prints cleanly at small sizes and is the most economical choice for a first run. It needs a laminate if the vial is handled with wet hands or stored in a humid room.

Synthetic paper and PE are the choice when the label has to survive moisture, oil or a wipe-down. Milky white PE gives an opaque, slightly soft look; clear synthetic gives the “no-label” look that some peptide and supplement brands prefer on a small vial.

Transparent stock is printed in reverse and applied over a printed or coloured surface, so the glass shows through. On a 3ml vial this is usually paired with a minimal design, because fine white text on clear film is unforgiving to register.

Foil and holographic stock — including laser silver and holographic film — is used where a brand wants an anti-counterfeiting signal or a strong shelf presence. We print on these stocks and can also add hot foil stamping or a scratch-off panel on paper labels. Any decision about how much protection you need is a brand decision; we print to your specification and do not describe any label as counterfeit-proof.

Finish options are gloss or matte varnish, gloss or matte lamination, spot UV and hot foil stamping. On a small peptide vial label we usually recommend restraint: one contrast and one foil element at most.

Peptide Label Printing: Artwork Rules for Small Diameters

Peptide label printing rewards a disciplined file. These are the rules we apply at proofing, and they catch most problems before a plate is made.

Watch the minimum type size. Below about 4 pt, text fills in on a coated stock and becomes unreadable at the vial — a sign the label is carrying too much.

Keep hairlines away from the wrap. A 0.25 pt rule that looks crisp flat will break up as it curves. If a rule is essential, make it heavier and set it parallel to the label’s height so it curves smoothly.

Allow for the die-cut tolerance. On a small label the die itself takes a share of the width, so we keep key elements clear of the edge by a millimetre or two rather than running text to the trim.

Plan the colour for the vial, not the screen. A dark label on dark glass, or a glossy finish on a curved surface, changes how the print reads; a physical sample applied to a vial is the only way to be sure.

Send a PDF, AI or CDR file and we will tell you within a day whether it is print-ready. Most artwork problems at vial scale are fixable before the plate is made and much harder after.

Matching Your Peptide Packaging Label to Box and Tray

A peptide packaging label rarely travels alone. It sits next to a carton, a tray and often a cap, and any mismatch between them becomes obvious the moment the parts sit together on a table.

Because we print boxes, trays, labels and cards from the same plant, one proofing round covers the whole set. The colour you approve on the label is the colour we match on the box, and the tray is dimensioned to the labelled vial rather than to a bare one. That removes the most common source of mismatch on a peptide project: a label printed by one supplier and a box by another, where small differences in tone and finish only appear in daylight.

It also changes the timing. Coordinating three suppliers usually means three lead times stacked in sequence. Here the box, the tray and the label run to the same schedule, so a project with a box, a tray and a label still finishes inside the 7–15 business day window after sample approval.

If you already have a box supplier you are happy with, we can print only the labels — you do not need to move the whole job to work with us.

Quantity, Artwork and How the Order Runs

Labels start at 1,000 pcs; boxes, cards and trays start at 100 pcs. That difference is practical rather than arbitrary: label printing and die-cutting are set up on a roll, so a 1,000-piece first run is what makes the setup worthwhile, while a box can be produced economically at 100.

What we need to quote a peptide label

The vial’s outer diameter, the label’s height, the number of labels per roll or sheet if that matters to your applicator, and the quantity. If the label is applied by machine, tell us the web direction and the core size so the reels arrive the right way round.

The process, step by step

Send the vial dimension, the label height and the quantity. We return a dieline and a quote within 24 hours, including an adhesive recommendation for your handling conditions. Design is free: send artwork and we place it on the dieline and return a proof, or if you have only a logo we propose one to three layouts, normally within two to three days, and revise until it is right. A physical sample follows in 1–3 business days, applied to a vial where possible, and bulk in 7–15 business days behind four quality gates: incoming material, first article, in-process random sampling, and final AQL inspection with defects isolated. Delivery is by sea, air or express to the regions we serve; payment is T/T with a 30–50% deposit.

FAQ

What is the minimum order for a peptide label?
1,000 pcs. Vial boxes and trays start at 100 pcs, so a box-plus-label project can begin with 100 boxes and 1,000 labels.

Can you match a peptide vial label to my box and tray?
Yes. Boxes, trays, cards and labels are produced here, so one proof approval covers the set and the colour is matched.

Which stock should I choose for a peptide vial label?
If the vial is stored cool or handled regularly, start with synthetic paper or milky white PE rather than uncoated paper. Tell us the storage conditions and we will confirm the adhesive too.

Can peptide label printing include an anti-counterfeiting element?
We print on holographic and laser silver stock and can add hot foil stamping or a scratch-off panel. We print what you specify and will not describe a label as counterfeit-proof.

Can the label be supplied on rolls for automatic application?
Yes. Tell us the web direction, the core size and the labels per roll, and we will set the reel up for your applicator.

How fast can I see a peptide packaging label proof?
A quote and dieline come back within 24 hours, design proposals in about two to three days, and a sample in 1–3 business days.

Start a peptide label project — send the vial diameter, the label height and the quantity, and you will have a dieline, an adhesive recommendation and a price within 24 hours. Free design and proofing; labels from 1,000 pcs; samples in 1–3 business days.
