Matte PP gives a flat, low-glare surface that accepts ballpoint and marker, which matters when a clinic writes a batch number or a date onto the vial by hand. The film is still waterproof, so the writing survives condensation.

When matte beats gloss

On a 5ml vial the label is often read at an angle, under a lamp or through a fridge door. Gloss reflects that light back; matte does not. If the workflow involves handwriting, matte also gives the ink something to bite into.

Layout for 5ml

A 5ml vial typically takes a 20 to 25mm label height. We keep the top third free for handwriting, the middle for the product name and strength, and the bottom for batch and expiry printed inline.
