Kraft vial labels on natural brown stock

Natural kraft suits supplement, wellness and botanical vials where an uncoated, warm-brown surface is part of the brand rather than a compromise. It prints cleanly in one or two colours and reads as a natural product beside clinical white labels.

Limits to be aware of

Kraft is uncoated paper: it is not waterproof, it will cockle if soaked, and it is not the right choice for a vial that is wiped with alcohol or stored in a fridge. Where the look is wanted but the environment is wet, a brown synthetic stock is the alternative.

Print on kraft

The brown base shifts every ink, so colours are specified against a kraft proof, not a white one. One-colour black or a single spot colour gives the cleanest result; white ink is possible but reads as cream rather than white.
