Red gold foil vial labels with spot UV

Two finishes on one label: red gold foil for the brand mark, spot UV gloss for the product name, matte varnish between them. It is a premium combination usually specified for peptide and cosmetic vials where the label is part of the product presentation.

Registering foil and UV

Foil and spot UV are applied in separate passes, so both have to be registered to the same die line. We build the artwork with a dedicated foil layer and a dedicated UV layer, and proof the registration before the run rather than after.

Where it is worth the cost

This finish needs two extra passes and a die, so it suits established products with a stable design. For a first run, foil alone or a metallised stock gives most of the visual effect at lower tooling cost.
